Dr. Raman Singh is Professor (Assistant) in the Department of Chemistry, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be) University, Mullana Ambala, Haryana. Her primary area of interest lies in Organic Chemistry including medicinal chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, and IPR.
She has done MSc (Chemistry), MPhil (Chemistry) and Ph.D. (2007) in Chemistry from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. She is the recipient of the Best Young Scientist Award in the Third Madhya Pradesh Science Congress- 2006 and the Best Young Scientist Award in the 22nd M.P. Young Scientist Congress-2007. Also selected for Women Scientist WOS-C, DST New Delhi. During her stay in Strasbourg (France), she volunteered for Indian culture and Hindi Bhasha promotion program organized by Inde-Alsace Association, Strasbourg She has published research papers in national and international journals of repute and also presented her research work in various national and international conferences/workshops/symposiums and seminars. She has supervised fourteen postgraduate dissertations, and one research scholar is working under her supervision.
Dr. Singh had work experience in Degree colleges and NAAC (A) Grade University for 8 Years in Teaching and Research. She also had work experience in Routine samples and data analysis in the National Dope Testing Laboratory (WADA Accredited Lab), New Delhi. She has conducted various workshops, international seminars, Awareness Programmes (such as COVID-19, International Year of Periodic Table, etc). She acquired training in the field of organic synthesis, antimicrobial assay, IPR, Dope testing, and online Teaching Tools.
